It is such a subtle detail, which is good for those who are not crazy over prints or bright colours and yet do not want their clothes to be too plain. With so many good points on its side, it's hard to make a fashion faux pas with this peek-a-boo detail, because anything goes!
However, to be on the safe side, here are a few general tips to avoiding a fashion no-no.
As with any other trend, do not wear eyelet from head to toe. If you already have on an eyelet top, forget the eyelet skirt. If you are donning an eyelet dress already, reach for the cotton tote instead of the eyelet one.
Stick to simple and solid accessories, or else you risk being overwhelmed by your clothes and have others noticing your outfit and not you.
